1980 – 2024

Spencer Lindahl was Vice Chairman of Amherst. Spencer was instrumental in building the property management services business under the Main Street Renewal brand. He led the Community Build business line at Amherst, where he identified investment opportunities and developed communities that offer consumers a different way to use residential real estate as their primary residence under a well-recognized consumer brand.

Spencer’s career started with State Farm Insurance Companies dealing in all lines of securities, banking, and insurances. After State Farm, he started his own realty firm and lending platform through which he acquired and managed single-family and multi-family properties and lent to investors as a bridge lender at foreclosure auctions. Spencer was licensed in real estate for 10-plus years and held real estate brokers licenses in multiple states. He was also the managing broker of Amherst Residential.
